Having a house in the middle of a large green space full of vegetation is the dream of many, but it cannot always be achieved. Kayak instructor and boat builder Brian Schulz has always wanted one so much that he realized his dream while building it. The project took a year to complete and cost € 8,000 ($ 11,000).
Inspired by Japanese architecture, the jungle house (as the owner calls it) is spread over 2 floors with a total area of 50 square meters in a mix of styles that combine the charm of the eastern, western and traditional.

Located in the woods of Cape Falcon, Oregon, the home offers all the basic amenities you would expect from a real home. All materials are locally sourced. This makes it a highly sustainable structure.
