Succulents and houseplants may look very trendy right now, but these plants have more benefits than just looking cool. Indoor plants actually have many health benefits, such as reducing stress, boosting mood, and improving productivity and creativity.

Indoor plants to stimulate positive mood

Indoor plants also help improve air quality. While studies show that you would need 680 plants to completely purify the air in a 1,500 square foot space, any little bit helps. These plants help increase oxygen levels and remove pollutants and toxins from the air, such as formaldehyde, xylene, and toluene.

So before you run to the greenhouse or start your indoor garden, take a look at these different indoor plants that will help you improve the harmony of your home.

1. Ties of love

Plants called love ties, bridal ribbon, or simply spiders have been found to remove 95 percent of the formaldehyde in the air, in addition to improving oxygen levels and removing carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. It is also a difficult plant to kill, making it a great option for those who are not very attentive to their plants.
