Life is very busy these days, from working on our personal relationships, to having a full-time job, everything keeps us busy. How can we even find the time to improve in other aspects of our life? If you don’t find the time to get better, your precious time will be lost in the black hole of your busy life and you can never have a productive day . As Professor Harold Hill pointed out, “Stock up enough tomorrows, and you will find that you are left with nothing but a heap of empty yesterday’s.”

How to rethink your life for a productive day

To avoid getting lost in this void, it is important that you rethink your approach to life. To start having productive days, instead of focusing on the non-essential and trivial, you have to focus on what is really important in your life.

It depends on you! Your life will definitely change and you will have a productive day, if you follow the following morning routine consisting of 7 simple and easy points.

1. Get a healthy sleep of seven or more hours

Sleep is of the utmost importance to overall health. Lack of sleep compromises brain function and negatively affects our health. Although this article focuses on doing 7 things before 8am, there is no point in waking up early if you went to bed a few hours before.

2. Do meditation to facilitate clarity

What you focus on is very important, and when the brain is scattered, things get messy. Meditation is a good way to clear your mind and improve concentration. In fact, that is what meditation means. Focusing on a certain subject or object actually helps calm the mind.

3. Hard physical activity

There is great evidence to suggest that exercise is beneficial for the body and mind. And very few people actually exercise regularly. If you want to be healthy and happy with your life, participating in some form of physical activity is a must.

4. Eat 30 grams of protein

Most nutritionists recommend eating 30 grams of protein for breakfast. High protein foods promote fullness that lasts longer compared to other foods. It also reduces carbohydrate cravings and prevents weight gain.

Your breakfast should be 40% protein. For example, you can have two or three eggs or something like cottage cheese, turkey bacon, or organic pork bacon or sausage. Ultimately, a protein shake will do the job, too.

5. Take a cold shower

Cold water has been shown to boost physical and mental well-being. When practiced regularly, it promotes long-lasting beneficial changes in the immune, circulatory, digestive, and lymphatic systems.

6. Listen to or read uplifting content

If you want to be successful in life, you need to constantly be learning new things. Successful people in the world tend to read, read, and read all the time. Reading uplifting content for at least half an hour over a long period of time makes you wiser and more productive in life.

7. Review your vision of life

Write your goals on a piece of paper, both short term and long term. Read them daily to see if you are on the right track. Following this simple pattern helps you achieve your goals more easily, no matter how big they seem.
