What is Feng Shui? Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese system of geomancy and astrology, inextricably linked to Chinese Tao, philosophy, and religion. This ancient technique uses the powers of the earth and stars to make life of better quality and greater harmony.

La regla de oro del Feng Shui:

Feng Shui has many rules. To know the ways of the Chinese masters, one has to study and practice the Tao for many years. Although Feng Shui is very difficult to master, we can all follow simple rules that lead to a simple truth:  Energy must always flow freely .

Nothing should act as an obstacle to the way the energy flows. This applies to almost anything in your home and your life. If something acts as a symbol that we are stuck in the past, this is something we have to get rid of.

Feng Shui de la cama:

The bed is the place where we spend more than a third of our lives, this is the most personal furniture of all. According to the Tao masters, this is the place we have to focus on to achieve better health and life experience. If the feng shui of our bed is bad, it can bring illness and all kinds of spiritual and / or physical obstacles towards our overall progress.

Teachers can diagnose “the roots” of disease or other types of obstacles. They even believe that the bad feng shui of our beds can attract certain types of negative energies. Here we will try to keep you safe from all kinds of obstacles.

Everything about your bed is connected to your personal energy. Therefore, everything in bed can enhance or deplete your energy, known as “chi.”

The basic Feng Shui rule of the bed:

Never keep anything under your bed. Why? Because Chi is the energy that has to circulate freely above and below you.

Everything has energy. Therefore, everything we keep under our bed affects our personal energy matrix. Keeping things under our bed can potentially affect these aspects of our life:

  • Health
  • Good luck
  • Personal relationships
  • Progress

What to do if I live in a confined space?

Of course we know that we do not live in a perfect world where we are all capable of living in huge houses and keeping our things neat in each specific place. But if that’s the case and you live in a smaller apartment where the space under the bed is almost non-existent, then you have to do some cleaning.

Remove all the things under your bed. Clean the space properly and then do some cleaning with frankincense and basil. (Why? To get rid of negativity and to bring better vibes into your home.

Keep only the things that are related to the bed and sleep with few pillows. Remember that it will be even better if everything is in order and clean.

These are the things you should avoid putting under your bed

There are a few things to avoid keeping under your bed:

  1. Anything that brings back bad memories – sadness eventually interferes with our chi.
  2. Photos and gifts from past relationships – bring bad luck to our current romantic life.
  3. Worn and torn clothes and shoes, and anything dirty – this drains our vitality.
  4. Any kind of plants in bad condition – it can bring diseases.
  5. Broken / Damaged Objects – sabotage our good luck.
  6. Electronic devices that we no longer use – corresponds to metal (ancient Chinese element) and brings us fears and uncontrolled situations.

So to summarize, if possible, don’t store anything under your bed. If you have to, then always pick out the things you need to sleep in and keep them organized and clean!
