To cope with the summer heat, you can make your own home conditioned air and greatly reduce costs, in addition, you can make it larger if you need to cool larger spaces.

Heat can be exasperating , especially when it is sustained; it does not allow to think, it does not allow to sleep, it interrupts the peace of mind, which is saying a lot. In some places, people prefer to deprive themselves of the luxury of an air conditioner for reasons of cost, either because the device has a high value, or because the electricity bill is something that must be kept low, both for the planet and for the pocket. But in some countries, air conditioning is necessary. Hot temperatures could put the lives of many with heart disease at risk. That is why we brought a solution that you can generate at home to keep the spaces of the home cooler.

Materials

To make this home air conditioning you will need a bucket of about 20 liters with a lid, it can be one of recycled paint, an inner polystyrene bucket, a PVC tube of about 3 cm in diameter by 30 cm long, a hole saw 1 5/8 inch -4.1 cm-, a 7-inch -17.7 cm- portable fan , a pen or marker, a utility knife and a 3-liter bottle of frozen water.

Elaboration

Place the fan on the cube with the lid on to take measurements, mark the outline with the pen, and carefully cut it out. If the fan has brackets or feet, you will need to remove it. Then drill three large holes in the body of the cube with a drill. Insert the polystyrene cube and make the same holes. Take the PVC pipe and cut three pieces the size of the holes created in the cube . Enter them.

Place the frozen water bottle in both buckets. Close both lids with the fan embedded in them and plug in the fan. The air will come out through the three holes, it is estimated that it can last about six hours with cold air that you can refill with another bottle of frozen water. There you will have a new home air conditioner.

The sizes and amount of water can be varied depending on the spaces that you want to keep cold. It is an easy alternative to carry out and that can be helpful in many cases.
