Taking advantage of the antibacterial properties of garlic in an ointment

In addition, it treats systemic infections by absorption through the skin into the blood supply and travels throughout the body. This natural remedy really works, you just have to accept the conditions of its smell. Try to use clothes exclusively for this treatment and do not combine it with another when washing it. After two weeks, make a new batch of this salve.

You need:

  • 3 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced

Process:

If the coconut oil is not liquid, it has to be heated (in a water bath) until it melts. Next, you will add three tablespoons of olive oil and mix together. Then add three tablespoons of fresh minced garlic. You can grind the garlic in the blender with a little of the oil mixture, add the rest of the oil and mix on high speed for two minutes. Another suggestion is to use a coffee grinder. Pour the mixture through a sieve to remove chunks of garlic that the blender may have missed. Pour the mixture into a wide-mouth jar and label it “Garlic Ointment.” Put it in the refrigerator.

Freshly made, the mixture is a milky color. It then turns into a smooth, thick paste after an hour. After sitting in the fridge for several hours, it gets a little thick, like an easy-to-spread balm.

Don’t worry if your mix melts. The oils are not dense when heated. You can use it as an oil or you can put it back in the refrigerator and chill again.
