Ways Baking Soda Helps With Beauty

What else is baking soda good for? It can be used as an aid for your beauty in many of its aspects from aesthetic to health.

1. In the fight against acne

Baking soda can be used effectively to solve acne problem . It is a safe and effective measure that helps to get rid of pimples. Prepare a paste and use it to dry the stains.

2. Teeth whitening

Take any tube of toothpaste and see what most brands include in the content. That’s right, baking soda. If combined with hydrogen peroxide, it provides a teeth whitening effect . Use the baking soda instead of toothpaste .

The only downside is that, if used too often, it can damage tooth enamel. If used once a week it is harmless and perfectly removes stains and plaques without damaging the enamel.

3. Freshens breath

Breath pills do not solve the problem of bad breath . The lozenges only hide the halitosis problem, but the baking soda eliminates bad breath effectively. Add a teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of water, mix, and then use it to wash your mouth. Gargle with the liquid to disinfect the throat and the root of the tongue – this is where most of the bacteria accumulate. Finally, spit out the mixture and enjoy fresh breath again.

4. Softening of the skin

If your hands and feet are rough and dry, use baking soda which is one of the quickest ways to soften your skin. Mix a little baking soda with water and some natural soap and thoroughly massage your hands and feet. Rinse with lukewarm water. This method also combats strong odors that remain on the hands after food preparation, and on the feet if they acquire odors from excessive sweating.

5. Keep hair healthy and clean

Not all hair shampoos and conditioners are as good as we would like them to be. Some hair products contain chemicals that our hair does not need at all. To keep your hair clean and healthy, use baking soda .

Avoid frequent use because the pH level of the bicarbonate is very high. The procedure can be safely performed once a month. Some use vinegar for the same purpose, it can be helpful after baking soda, like a conditioner, that although it smells at first, later the smell disappears.

6. To use while you are taking a bath in the bathtub

The next time you decide to take a bath, add a small cup of baking soda to your tub. Soaking in these waters will help neutralize the acids that cause unpleasant body odors and make your skin less oily. What you get as a result is smooth, glowing skin.

7. Clean brushes

Baking soda has been used to wash dishes and clean oil and grease. Use it now to clean your makeup tools, such as brushes, sponges, applicators. Mix a full teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water, soak the applicators in the mixture. Rinse with clean water and let them dry.

8. Nail cleaning

Another beauty tip is that you can use three parts of baking soda and one part of water to prepare a paste that can be applied when performing a manicure or pedicure. Massage feet, hands, and nails with the paste, then rinse. Baking soda polishes and softens cuticles , cleans under nails , removes odors, and softens skin on feet and hands.

9. Avoid sweating with baking soda

Make your own scented deodorant at home. It will contain only natural ingredients that are harmless to the skin. Add a few drops of essential oil to 4 tablespoons of baking soda and apply the mixture to your armpits. Such a deodorant provides a feeling of cleanliness and freshness for a few hours. Reapply later in the day if necessary.

10. Natural scrub
